On March 18, we videotaped numerous students in our kindergarten classes - these were unstaged sessions to give parents an idea of how well our kindergarten students are reading and writing at the end of the 3rd grading period. Applications for the 2012/2-13 school year is now underway! The State of Indiana has approved school choice programs, including a special opportunity for incoming kindergarten students and a voucher program for students to transfer from an Indiana public/charter schools to an accredited, private school, including ECS. ECS offers an activity-based Summer Camp at our East Campus for any student entering K through 8th grade (open to the public). The program has flexible attendance options - you only pay for the days you need, which can vary from week to week. Register soon as most classes reach capacity. Based on our current situation, needs, and future direction (including plans for a Christian high school), we are excited to announce the creation of a new Head of School Position. Reading

ECS offers a very popular summer Ready-for-Reading program open to any student entering Kindergarten in the fall (attending ECS or another school). The low-cost program, led by licensed teachers, is offered at four locations. Registration begins on Feb. 1. To download a brochure and registration form, click here.

High School
Status
|
Our School Board has concluded that there is a need for a Christian high school and that God is calling ECS to fill that need. The Strategic Planning Committee is charged with developing a financially viable Business Plan to be presented to the Board for approval. ECS is considered a "high growth/high achievement" school based on our students' ISTEP results and the State's new Growth Model.
