All 6th-8th grade classes take a class trip during the school year which support the Indiana academics standards and count toward attendance:
- 6th grade typically go to Cincinnati, OH. and visit The Creation Museum;
- 7th graders typically go to St. Louis, MO.; and
- 8th graders spend a week in Washington D.C.
The 8th Grade Class trip to Washington, D.C. is a highlight of the year and creates special memories. As space is available, parents are able to participate in the trip. Some of the tours included on the trip are the Smithsonian Museum, the White House, Congress, Supreme Court, Mt. Vernon, the Vietnam Memorial, Gettysburg Battlefield, and the Holocaust Museum. Laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a powerful opportunity for our students.
The cost of the class trips are not included in the Commitment & Registration Fees or tuition payments. Students have several opportunities to participate in fundraisers to offset the cost of the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. Information is distributed to students and parents at Back-to-School Night.
