We started a freshman class in the 16/17 school year – the pioneer class of Evansville Christian High School! In 17/18, this class, as well as our second 9th grade class, moved in to our new, freestanding campus/facility on the northwest corner of Epworth Road and Lincoln Avenue.
For the 18/19 school year, we will add 11th grade to our high school with 12th grade to be added in the 19/20 school year. The high school’s school day is 8:20 a.m. – 3:20 p.m. with the campus open for students from 7:30 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. (with no charge).
We are thankful that you would consider Evansville Christian High School as the organization to partner with in your child’s education. We are a school committed to growth, service, and relationships that are rooted in the hope we have been given through Jesus Christ. Our culture, our courses, our outcomes – everything – is intentional. The information and links below will give you a clear picture of the opportunities that your student can experience at ECHS. As you review the information, please call to schedule a tour or to ask questions!
An ECHS student will graduate with the options of an Indiana Core 40 or Core 40 with Academic Honors diploma which will align with and exceed the requirements from the Indiana Department of Education. Standard, honors, and AP courses are all part of the ECHS experience. High school course placement (for certain content and levels) is determined based on current academic records, MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) test results, and parent/student/staff input. All three pieces of data will help identify the best path to success for each student.

We understand that cost and affordability are important considerations. For the 18/19 school year, all new high school students, including current ECS 8th graders, will receive a special pioneer scholarship of $1,000 per year for all years they are continuously enrolled in ECHS. Further, as with all students, high school students will be eligible for the State’s school choice/voucher programs as well as ECS Tuition Assistance.
